1. Another Brother

We are in love with the vibe and decoration in this place. We dare you to find a more “vibey” coffee shop in the whole of Putney (let us know in the comments if you know of a challenger for the title!). You will regularly see customers working here with their laptops as they sip their delicious coffee. Great location too: right across the street from Wandsworth Park, and a view of the Thames.
Bonus points for the team’s impeccable music taste, any time you drop by, you will be impressed by their music selection.

2. Arise Coffee Roasters

Next up is one of our Founder Carla’s favorite hangout spots - if you drop by you might just find her here - living the nimbld lifestyle!
Arise was founded by a great lady called Lavender, who roasts her coffee beans herself on premises. You will be hard pressed (excuse the pun) to find a barista who cares more about her coffee than her.
Additionally to various forms of coffee, including specialty Vietnamese coffee, you can find an all-day light food menu, as well as a great brunch menu.
3. Artisan

Usually quite busy, and for good reason, Artisan Coffee in Putney is part of a small chain, but still retains all the charm of a local coffee shop: delicious pastries and coffee, in a great, relaxed atmosphere.
Positively Putney says: Fancy a perfectly brewed, warm cup of coffee? Then look no further. Artisan offers enthusiasm, passion and care with each cup of coffee they sell, making them one of the most popular cafés in Putney. Artisan has mastered the art of creating a welcoming space with the perfect balance between a quiet work area and a sociable meet-up point. As well as hot drinks, Artisan also serve sweet treats including granola bars, pastries and lemon and rosemary cakes; as well as warm soups and delicious sandwiches.
4. The Bakehouse

Located on the same road as Artisan (above), Bakehouse is another Putney gem. Beyond their great coffee they also offer a wide variety of in-house baked pastries and breads (we particularly recommend their chocolate cake and their Oreo cookie cake), as well as a small selection of organic and locally sourced groceries.
The Bakehouse make, bake and serve their artisan bread daily in their bakery on Upper Richmond Road. We particularly recommend their cinnamon bun!
5. Monies

Stunning, we repeat, stunning cinnamon buns. Unmissable. Monies also works with Yalla coffee roasters from Cornwall, so expect absolutely top-notch coffee in beautiful surroundings. Monies also displays beautiful paintings by local artists, so it almost doubles as an art gallery. They also have a lovely terrace outside, so you can people-watch while enjoying your morning brew.
Their baristas also deeply care about the coffee, and you get to watch them in action... with all the flourishes. Beautiful, as well as tasty coffee is to be had at Monies!
